What we did in class on Monday: First part of a 3-stage activity on Surveillance capitalism based on the following video. Presentation by former students on Online Privacy.

Homework for Friday, November 22: Write your own (invited or uninvited) cover letter and print it out.

What we did in class on Friday: Q&As on individual CVs + We finished the above-mentioned activity.

Homework for Monday, November 25: Press review + start reviewing everything we've covered this semester.

ICADE BECS 2ºE2/E4: 

What we did in class on Tuesday: First stages of a thorough activity involving listening comp, use of english, speaking and advertising concepts based on the first episode of Mad Men (season 1).

The final exam will take place on the very last day of class i.e. December 5.

What we did in class on Thursday: We finished the activity on Mad Men and started working on the final project.

Timeline for the coming weeks: Tuesday, November 19: Activity based on Mad Men to introduce the advertising concepts you will need for the final project. Thursday, November 21 (at least the second part of the class) AND Tuesday, November 26 will be devoted to the project. Due date: November 28. HERE is what I expect.
