What we covered in class on Thursday, March 8: We finished the above-mentioned activity and held a debate on feminism. We'll talk about Assessed Assignment 4 on TuesdayHere is an interesting article on the topic by The New Yorker.

Homework for Tuesday, March 13: Buy the book in question (paper or pdf version) and read the first 100 pages then fill out the following template (make sure you include all the words you looked up in the dictionary or at least the ones you liked most in the "what" or "so what" section). This replaces the Press Review activity from now on. 

In class: after thoroughly discussing the contents of the reading sheets each group will write a review on the 100 pages in question and hand it in.
