Press Review + homework correction + lesson on good survey questions: here is our class whiteboard and the 10 commandments of good survey questions we looked at + survey-creation activity using Survey Monkey  + introduction to report writing.

Homework for Friday, February 17: Do the following activity around report writing.

What we covered in class on Friday, February 17: We worked on the above-mentioned report writing activity (here is our class whiteboard) + introduced the subjunctive (here is the tutorial in question) and did the following exercise. Assessed writing: 250-word report on the findings of the survey carried out in class the other day.

Homework for Monday, February 20: Press review. If you were unable to attend our Friday class: Do the above-mentioned writing and hand it in (if you can't find the results of your survey, write a report on this graph and compare the results with what you think the graph might look like today)+ read the tutorial on the subjunctive and do the exercise
