What we covered in class on Monday: Vocab-searching activity stage 1: We didvided the class into two groups. Members of group 1 individually looked for interesting words in this text while members of group 2 did so in that text (only in the central part) or this one (from the 1950's to today). Once they had identified the words they looked up their definitions on the Merriam Webster website and made a list of 10 definitions on a separate sheet of paper (without the solutions!) as follows:

1. (verb) To move or walk in a slow or unsteady way.

Homework for Wednesday: Find other examples online for the words you looked up and write them down.
